Cerebral Palsy team of Ladakh flagged off

LEH, May 3: For the first time in the history of Ladakh, the team of Cerebral Palsy was flagged off for Nationals by Tonyat Tashi, chairman Contractor Association Leh and Tsewang Dorjay president Pagir Society of Ladakh, here today.
A total of 10 players from different parts of Ladakh are part of the team along with team manager, Safdar Ali and coach.
While talking to media Syed Mehraj Ud Din Shah, president Cerebral Palsy Society of Ladakh said that this is an initiative to bring into mainstream these specially abled children and provide them some platform to prove them.
Syed Mehraj Shah extended thanks to their sponsors, ADGP Ladakh Satish Khandare (IPS), chairman Contractors Association Leh, LAHDC Kargil, Hotel Singge Palace, ALTO Leh, Kacho Imtiyaz, Kacho Brother’s Pashkum, Abdul Mateen Super Star Shoe House Leh and Abida Dar.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Cerebral Palsy Sports Federation of India (CPSFI) is conducting its inaugural National Athletics Championship 2022 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Lodhi Road, New Delhi from May 4 to 7.
