JAMMU, Nov 1: Chief Executive Officer, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, Jitendra Kumar Singh inspected the ongoing development works and other facilities for pilgrims at Bhawan, Bhaironji Temple, Sanjichhat and Adhkuwari.
These include upcoming passenger ropeway between Bhawan and Bhairon Temple, accommodation facilities, medicare, water and power supply, lockers, sanitation and cleanliness.
During day long visit, the CEO also interacted with the staff of the Shrine Board at Bhawan and Bhaironji Temple to address their difficulties.
He was accompanied by a team of officers of the Board comprising Anshul Garg, Additional CEO, Dr Arvind Karwani, Deputy CEO, Jagdish Singh, SDM Bhawan, Duni Chand, Tehsildar Bhawan, PC Tanoch, Executive Engineer and other concerned officers and engineers.
The CEO felicitated some of the safaikaramcharis and other employees as a token of appreciation for their outstanding performance and devotion to duty and presented to them mementos comprising certificates and commemorative coins.
He impressed upon all the employees to leave no stone unturned to facilitate and provide best possible quality services to the visiting pilgrims. He encouraged the staff to share their feedback and forward suggestions for further improvement of services in view of rising expectations of the pilgrims.
The staff briefed the CEO about the various personnel and professional issues and also projected demands including pay fixation, promotions, organizing of more such interaction sessions, etc.
The CEO interacted with the staff in regard to their personnel related matters and welfare initiatives for safaikaramcharis and other staff. He issued on the spot directions to the concerned to ensure time bound disposal of personnel matters of the employees and addressing other demands projected by them.
He also gave details of the various initiatives and welfare measures which have already been taken by the Board and those underway for addressing the difficulties of the staff and ensuring their better career prospects.
