KATRA, May 1: As part of the programme to hold interaction with the staff working on the track and at various other locations to address their difficulties, Simrandeep Singh, Chief Executive Officer, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, held an interaction session with the staff of the Shrine Board at Sanjichhat.
The staff briefed the CEO about various issues which require redressal. They also presented to him their demands which, interalia, pertained to pay fixation, release of grades, promotions and regularisation etc.
The CEO gave patient hearing to the demands put forth by the employees in the camp. While enumerating various measures which have already been taken for the general welfare and career progression of the employees of the Board, he issued on the spot directions to the concerned to ensure time bound disposal of personnel matters of the employees and addressing other demands projected by them. He also lauded the efforts made by the officers and staff of the Board to ensure facilitation of pilgrims visiting the Holy Cave Shrine, which have been widely acclaimed, adding that no stone should be left unturned to provide best possible quality services to the pilgrims to make the pilgrimage a memorable experience for them, particularly in view of rising expectations of the yatris.
During interaction, the CEO was accompanied by a team of officers of the Board, comprising Dr Arvind Karwani, Dy CEO; Duni Chand, Tehsildar Bhawan; Sudesh Sharma and Vivek Dubey, Dy Managers of the Board.
Among those who participated in the interaction programme, included a number of Safai Karamcharis and other staff of the Board posted in the area.
