SRINAGAR, Dec 26: Chief Education Officer, Kulgam has withheld salary of scores of teachers appointed as ReTs from last some months in Devsar zone.
ReTs of zone Devsar told Excelsior that without any reason they have been made to suffer unnecessarily. “We don’t know why our salaries are not paid despite doing our duty,” they said.
They said that rest of the Education zones in the district received their salaries on time, but “we are subjected to inconveniences.”
The ReTs also said their arrears are not due since April 2012 when their monthly salary was hiked.
