JAMMU, June 28: Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Economic Re-construction Agency (ERA) Saurabh Bhagat visited Bikram Chowk (BC) flyover site and inspected the ongoing works.
Bhagat inspected batching plant, casting yard, office cum Field Testing Laboratory and directed to improve the approach road and the working area at the earliest.
CEO then visited the main works site and inspected the bore holes for Geo-Technical Investigation.
He was apprised that one bore hole has been completed and the second has been dug upto 11 meters and the work is in progress.
CEO expressed desired that one or two more rigs be put at appropriate places to speed up the work of Geo-Technical Investigation.
He directed to expedite the finalization of structural design of centrally air conditioned small business arcades in the proposed subways at Kala-Kendra and Government Women College, so that the excavation work required for this innovative proposal be completed before Darbar move in November.
“This new proposal will not only generate additional revenue to the State but security of pedestrians will be ensured round the clock as number of ATMs will also be provided”, he added.
Later, he visited the Government Women College and asked to remove the old boundary wall and other structures including cutting of trees coming in the row of the proposed flyover.
CEO was accompanied by Project Manager, SM Trisal, Team leader-DSC, RN Verma and other Officers of ERA and DSC.
