NEW DELHI: The Government has decided to fast track the projects of Jammu and Kashmir, under Prime Minister’s Development Package (PMDP), by making encumbrance free land available for the Infrastructure projects including Road, Power and Health.
This was decided at a meeting between Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh here on Thursday. Under the PMDP, a package to the tune of Rs 80,068 crore has been rolled out for 63 major development projects pertaining to 15 Central Government Ministries, an amount of Rs 62,599 crore has been sanctioned and an amount of Rs 22,042 crore has been released.
