Centre committed to bringing Dawood in India, hold trial against him: Rajnath

LUCKNOW:  Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh today said that all efforts were being made to bring  underworld don Dawood Ibrahim from Pakistan.

“The government was committed to bringing back Dawood  and hold a trial for his crimes. We have already sent all the documents to Pakistan and sought his extradition to India,” he told reporters here.

India was trying to build pressure on Pakistan through International community, he said ,” we have received positive indications on our efforts.”

Asked about terrorists’ hand in different railway accidents in UP, the BJP MP from Lucknow said that the matter has already been handed over to the  NIA. (AGENCIES)
