LEH, Feb 20: Chief Executive Councilor LAHDC Dorjay Motup today convened maiden meeting of the Executive Council to review progress on various development initiatives.
The meeting was attended by all Executive Councilors, Chief Executive Officer of LAHDC and DC, Leh.
CEC stressed for expediting the physical achievements and expenditure on account of various works being executed under different schemes in the region. He directed the DC to ensure full expenditure of funds for public welfare works. He also instructed PHE and PDD to ensure systematic water supply and uninterrupted power for the convenience of the public.
Instructions were also issued for immediate taking up of sewer laying works from Lamdon School to Chanspa junction near Moravian Church for convenience of the public.
Earlier, SSP Leh called on CEC to discuss traffic management and regulations strategies for Leh city.
