LEH, May 28: The Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor (CEC) LAHDC Leh, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal along with Deputy Chairman, LAHDC Leh, Gyal P Wangyal and Executive Councillor Minority, Affairs, Mumtaz Hussain inspected a number of developmental works here today.
On the first leg of inspection, Namgyal visited the bridge construction site at Choglamsar-the main approaching bridge of Chushot, Stok and Matho villages on Choglamsar-Hemis road which is coming up under CRF scheme.
Namgyal while assessing the progress of work instructed the engineers to gear up the pace and complete the bridge within 8 months keeping in mind its importance.
The CEC later inspected the site of Eco Public Park which is coming up under Capex budget 2019-20. The engineers apprised to the CEC that this Public Park besides having amusement space for general public will also have an open theatre, cafeteria, toilets etc.
The CEC instructed the engineers to ensure the creation of the park in such a way that would truly serve the purpose.
Namgyal also visited the Bomb-garh today and enquired about the progress of the installation work of a Black Hole Machine which will be set up there to burn the garbage.
