KARGIL, July 8: Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor (CEC), LAHDC Kargil, Feroz Ahmad Khan today inaugurated a cardiac camp at Covid Hospital Kurbathang.
The 2-day camp is being organized by Paras Hospital Gurugram in association with Dream 4A Change, LAHDC Kargil and Health Department Kargil. Executive Councilor Tourism and Zanskar Affairs Er Phunsuk Tashi, Director Animal and Sheep Husbandry Dr Raza Abassi, CMO Dr Munawar Hussain Wazir, HoD Paras Hospital Dr Mahesh Wadani and team founder Dream 4A Change Shahnawaz Var and other concerned officers were also present on the occasion.
While speaking on the occasion, the CEC lauded Paras Hospital, Dream 4A Change and other health-related organizations for their contribution in health care. He emphasized on the follow up the patients whenever needed.
Dr Mahesh Wadhwani expressed his desire to serve the underprivileged section of society. He said the patients and cases they are short listing will be supervised for lifetime. He informed that more than 350 patients have been registered who will be screened in the two-day-long camp and the needy will be sent to Delhi for further treatment. It was further informed that patients below 18 years of age will be treated free of cost.
Dr Munawar also spoke on the occasion and recommended and acknowledged the contribution of the Dream 4A Change and other organizations in health sector, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. Dr Mohd Abass moderated the whole session while Shahnawaz Var delivered the vote of thanks.
