CCB employees warns to go on strike

JAMMU, Jan 27: A meeting of United Forum of the Citizens Cooperative Bank Employees was held under the presidentship of Vinay Gupta in view of the ongoing exercise of bank management vis-à-vis promotions.
The members of the Forum unanimously decided to involve all the concerned forms including adopting of trade union practices to safeguard the legitimate rights of its members and to establish rule of law.
The strategy of action was also chalked out and the members were asked to be ready for the agitation against the acts of the management of bank while ordering promotions. Parvinder Kumar, general secretary of the Association said that promotion orders should be treated as call for strike in the bank till the restoration of genuine rights of the seniors.
A five member committee headed by Yash Pal Rana, Chairman of the forum was constituted to proceed ahead and take up the matter with the Government authorities such as Registrar of Cooperative Societies and Reserve Bank of India.
