CBI grills Jagan again

HYDERABAD, June 6: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) continued interrogation of YSR Congress Party President Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on the fourth day of the five-day custody today, in connection with the disproportionate assets case against him.
The CBI team took him Mr Jagan to its office at Koti at 1025 hours.
The CBI team led by its Joint Director V V Lakshminarayana grilled Mr Jagan mainly on the land allotments to Vanpic during his father Y S Raja Sekhara Reddy’s regime and in turn the promoter Nimmagadda Prasad investing about Rs 850 crore into his companies.
The CBI had questioned the Kadapa MP on the investments made into Sandur Power and other firms from foreign locations, especially Mauritius, on the second day and ascertained to get information on the third day about the flow of funds into his companies, Janani Infrastructure, Jagathi Publications and Indira Television that run Sakshi and the news channel respectively.
The CBI team is also questioning Congress MLA from Kakinada (Urban) Dwarampudi Chandrasekhara Reddy, a Director in Janani Infrastructure on the second day today after he appeared before the investigating agency in its office.
The YSR Congress Chief was arrested by the CBI on May 27. The next day, the CBI court sent him to judicial custody till June 11.
