Case Filed After Viral Video Shows Pro-Pakistan Posters In J&K’s Doda

JAMMU, Apr 28: A case was registered on Tuesday after a video showing a man pasting posters containing pro-Pakistan slogans on a bridge in Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda went viral on social media, police said.
The purported video, which was geo-tagged, showed a location in the Pul Doda area, they said.
A senior officer said efforts were underway to identify those involved and maintain public order.
“A short clip went viral on social media yesterday, in which a poster was seen being pasted somewhere. It also had geo-tagging enabled,” a police officer said.
The officer said that some objectionable words were written on the poster, which could create panic among the public. “We have started an investigation into the matter,” he said.
The officer said that it would be known only after the probe whether the clip was original or AI-generated. “That is all part of the investigation. At present, nothing can be said about its authenticity,” he added. (Agencies)
