Carve separate Jammu State to end discrimination: Mankotia

UDHAMPUR, July 22: Reiterating the voice of Jammu people, NPP State President and former MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia claimed that formation of separate Jammu State is the only option to end discrimination with Jammu region.
He reiterated that separate Jammu state will witness holistic development of the region and growth of the people.
Addressing a gathering assembled on the occasion of annual congregation of Sankpal Devta at hilly district of Udhampur and Ramban, Mankotia claimed that this hilly area remain neglected due to callous attitude of the administration and newly elected representative of the constituency.
He reiterated that development of this area only possible after the formation of separate constituency comprising of Landar, Bhamag and Pancheri to address the grievances of people of this hilly area.
NPP has launched a massive campaign that Landar, Pancheri and Bhamag will become a separate constituency and will carry forward the struggle upto its logical conclusion, claimed Mankotia.
Mankotia also inaugurated a yatri shed constructed with an estimated cost of Rs 80, 000 and local people have provided manpower for the construction of this shed.
On the occasion Ex-Sarpanch Subhash Singh, Ex-Sarpanch Raghubir Singh, Rajinder Sharma, Ex-Sarpanch Bimal Kumar and Ex-Sarpanch Jeevan Sharma were also present.
