Career Counsel Portal ‘Univariety’ launched at GD Goenka School

JAMMU, July 21: GD Goenka Public School, Jammu, has tied up with Univariety, an online Singapore based Career Counsel Portal, often referred to as the ‘International Education Gateway’ to guide and assist the Goenkans not only in their respective career choices but also to help them in selecting different Universities, assist in application process, scholarships, etc.
Divya Abrol from New Delhi and Saumya from Lucknow launched the Uni-variety Portal at GD Goenka Public School, Jammu.
Ritu Khanuja, Coordinator for this Online Portal said, “It is imperative to be associated and involved with the right career choices available today, which shall certainly help our students to design their own roadmaps to reach their dream destinations”.
During the workshop, the students were guided in creating an interesting academic profile which would keep them abreast with all leading Universities and Colleges. It would also allow them to chat with the counsellors via Webinars and emails.
It was a highly informative workshop where the students became aware of the numerous foreign Universities and the scholarship programmes associated with them. Some of the prestigious Indian Universities and Colleges admission procedures were also discussed at length.
While speaking on the occasion, Rajesh Rathore, Principal, GD Goenka Public School, Jammu said, “The stereotype professions have taken over by newer jobs which are tremendously creative, artistic and require a more “out of the box thinking” approach. The new, digital opportunities will break the monotony of the traditional career avenues. Collaboration with Univariety is an orbit shifting attempt for the young Goenkans and it will certainly fetch them rich dividends in day to come”.
