JAMMU, Sept 12: One factory of Classic Packers suffered a loss of over Rs 25,000 after it caught fire this afternoon at Dashmesh Nagar Gangyal near here.
The factory was manufacturing the polythene bags and cardboard boxes. However the timely action by Fire Services Station from Gangyal which pressed the two fire tenders into fire fighting operations the factory was saved from a huge loss. The fire was controlled in two hours.
The fire fighting operation was led by Deputy Director, Fire Services, S K Bhan.
