JAMMU, June 24: A car which was stolen about 7 days back from Prem Nagar area of Jammu is yet to be traced.
According to the reports, a complaint was lodged on June 17 by a youth namely Rahul Dogra son of Vijay Kumar, resident of House No 59, Poonch House, Panjirthi, Jammu, with police post Gujjar Nagar, stating that his Alto K10 car bearing registration number JK02CC-1694 had been stolen by some unknown persons from Prem Nagar area between 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM on June 17 when he along with his family had gone to attend a family function.
Though, a case FIR No 39/2019 under relevant sections had been registered in this connection at police station Peer Mitha but even after seven days of the theft, the vehicle is untraced.
According to Sub Inspector Mohd Ashraf, Incharge, police post Gujjar Nagar, they have deputed their men to Ramban and checking CCTVs at Ban Toll Plaza and Chenani-Nashari tunnel to get some clue. If need arises, they will also check CCTVs of Lakhanpur Toll Plaza.
