JAMMU, Feb 15: A car was gutted in fire near Bagh-e-Bahu area here.
As per police sources, a car bearing registration number JK02BP-0611 owned by Vikas Malhotra of Bakshi Nagar caught fire probably due to short circuit near Bagh-e-Bahu. The owner had miraculous escape as he deboarded from the vehicle timely.
On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and informed the Department of Fire and Emergency Services.
Fire fighter along with tenders reached the spot and doused the flames, but till then the car was completely gutted.
Bagh-e-Bahu Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
