JAMMU, Jan 20: J&K Health and Medical Education Department today revoked order of cancellation of Dr Mir Hamid Bashir (Medical Officer), posted at PHC Awoora in Anantnag district.
Pertinently, appointment of 93 MOs including Dr Mir Hamid Bashir was cancelled on 21-12-2022 for their failure to join their duties within prescribed period of time. However, appointment of Dr Mir Hamid Bashir was wrongly cancelled on the basis of wrong information provided by Chief Medical Officer Kupwara whereas Dr Mir Hamid Bashir had already joined the place of posting in Anantnag district.
Therefore, H&ME Department today ordered that the details/particulars of Dr Mir Hamid Bashir shall always be deemed to have been deleted from the purview of the Government order Number 930-JK (HME) of 2022 dated 21-12-2022 by virtue of which, among others, appointment of Dr Mir Hamid Bashir (MO) was also cancelled without his fault.
Further, according to fresh order, Director Health Services Kashmir shall conduct a formal enquiry into the matter and take necessary action against the officers/officials responsible for providing wrong information.
