Canara Bank celebrates 110th Foundation Day

JAMMU, Nov 19: Canara Bank today celebrated 110th Foundation Day. The bank was founded in 1906 with a vision of empowering masses in Southern States of India.
During the life time of 109 years the Bank has sprouted across India and abroad with over 5700 branches and has become one of the leading nationalized banks in the country.
On its 110th Foundation Day Canara Bank Jammu Main Branch donated three steel Almirahs as per requirement of the orphanage to the Bal Niketan Ambphalla.
These almirahs were handed over by the Bank to the Bal Niketan at a small function here. About 123 children of the orphanage were present on the occasion.
