RAMBAN, May 2: To celebrate 16th Annual Day, a colorful programme was celebrated by Bharatiya Vidya Mandir (BVM) High School at Dak Banglow, here today.
Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Ramban Neelam Kumar Langeh was chief guest while Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Ramban Babu Ram guest of honour, Sangathan Mantri Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti (J&K) Pardeep Kumar was the special guest whereas Patron BVM High School Mohan Lal, Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Ramban Zubaida Khan, Zonal Resource Persona (ZRP) Ramban Pawan Kumar besides district officer and Principals and teachers of other schools present during the function.
The function was started with the lightning of traditional lamp followed by the welcome speech of principal of the school Pardeep Kumar Thakur, presented the annual report amidst highlighting the distinguished achievements.
Speaking on the occasion chief guest congratulated the school management for their focus on imparting quality education and inculcating moral and ethical values amongst the students.
He during his address lauded the role of school administration for their dedicated efforts in providing quality education to the students. He announced Rs 2 lacs for the development of the school.
The chief guest and other guests felicitated the students for their annual performances in different field included Handwriting and painting competition, science exhibition besides merit holder students in 10th and 12th Class Board examinations of last year.
Various cultural items presented on the occasion including Dogri, Bollywood, Kashmiri, and Punjabi dance.
The vote of thanks was presented by the patron of school Mohan Lal, while the stage proceedings were conducted by Meenu Puri, Divya Gupta and student Udhayveer Singh Chib.
