JAMMU, June 19: A bus and other items were damaged in fire at SRTC workshop in Yard Number 2 Narwal today morning.
As per police sources, fire broke outside the premises of SRTC workshop at Yard Number 2 Narwal and later engulfed the premises also.
On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and informed the Department of Fire and Emergency Services.
Fire fighters along with tenders reached the spot and doused the flames. A SRTC bus was completely gutted in fire, while some other items also suffered some damages.
No injury or casualty has been reported in the incident, while the exact loss could not be ascertained yet.
Narwal Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
