KATHUA, Mar 6: Burglars decamped with gold ornaments and other valuables including Rs 10,000 cash from a residential house in Ward Number 19 here during broad daylight today.
As per reports, the owner of house Hari Krishan and other family members were not present in the house during the time of theft and they had gone outside after locking the house as well as its main gate.
Burglars however broke the locks of main gate and inside door as well as the locker and decamped with golden ornaments and other valuables besides Rs 10,000 cash.
The police team from Police Station, Kathua rushed to the spot soon after the report was lodged by the family to assess the loss. The police has started investigation in the matter.
