KISHTWAR, Dec 7: Police arrested a burglar and recovered all the stolen items.
As per police sources, on December 2 this year, a complaint was received from Dr Fareed Ahmed Wani at Police Station Kishtwar stating that when he was on duty some burglars entered into his house and decamped with valuable items worth Rs 60,000.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 267/19 under section 457 and 380 IPC was registered at Police Station Kishtwar and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, several suspects were rounded up and finally police nabbed the burglar, who was a juvenile and confessed that he committed the crime.
On his disclosure, all the stolen items were recovered.
Further investigation of the case is going on.
