14 cattle rescued

RAJOURI, Dec 7: The police have rescued 14 bovine animals from the clutches of smugglers in Nowshera area and registered three cases against the accused.
Reports said police team from Nowshera headed by Station House Officer, Fareed Ahmed under the supervision of Sub Divisional Police Officer Nowshera, Brijesh Sharma during routine patrolling intercepted Tata mobile vehicles.
The drivers parked the vehicles at some distance escaped. The police later found 14 bovine animals loaded in these vehicles which were seized. However, cops managed to later nab two persons from who were identified as Mushtaq Ahmed, son of Abdul Rehman and Rahat Iqbal, son of Abdul Majid, residents of Khablan, Thanamandi.
Three Tata mobile vehicles bearing registration numbers JK02AL/ 1449, JK11T/ 3202 and JK11B/ 4694 have been seized and cases under relevant sections of law have been registered at Police Station, Nowshera.
