‘Bureaucracy harming interests of reserved categories’

JAMMU, Jan 25: Joint Action Committee of Reserved Categories (JAC-RC) has claimed that J&K bureaucracy including PSC is working against the interests of reserved categories.
In a press conference here today reserved categories groups, retired forums, elected representatives of local bodies and others alleged that bureaucracy and Public Service Commission in J&K are functioning like super-boss and the LG has not taken any action against them.
They further said that J&K bureaucracy is hell bent upon damaging the welfare schemes meant for SC, ST and OBCs in J&K by adopting different means.
Prof. G.L Thapa said such people in the Government will face a tough agitation from reserved categories including lodging of FIRs for working against the interests of reserved categories.
Prof. Kali Dass demanded implementation of Mandal Commission Report. Sham Bassan also spoke on the occasion.
