Bukhari again calls on Shah

JAMMU, June 26: Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) president Altaf Bukhari last evening called on Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi and briefed him on local issues of the Union Territory.
This was Bukhari’s second meeting with Shah in as many days as he was part of All-Party meeting called by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 24 which was also attended by the Home Minister.
“On June 24, we discussed political issues while on June 25, I took up local issues of Jammu and Kashmir with Amit Shah including opening of Mughal Road, Synthan Pass, repair and widening of Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, expediting COVID vaccination and issues of unemployed dental surgeons besides daily wagers,” Bukhari said.
He added that he urged the Union Home Minister to take steps to revive economy of Jammu and Kashmir which has suffered during past couple of years.
