JAMMU, June 8: Advocate R A Buchh was elected as president of the Tax Bar Association Jammu the elections of which were held here today.
The other office bearers who were elected unopposed included Sourav Mahajan as senior vice president, Gagan Aneja as general secretary and T S Pathania as joint secretary-cum-treasurer.
However, in the keenly fought contest for the post of vice president Vikram Dubey defeated Dheeraj Bhasin.
The elections were conducted by the Returning Officer, Monika Gupta. The outgoing president V K Grover administered oath of office to the newly elected office bearers. He listed the achievements of last team and identified the unaccomplished tasks which needed to be taken up on priority.
Later addressing the members Mr Buchh assured then that he will not only try to complete the unaccomplished task but also try to serve the fraternity with sense of commitment, devotion, dedication and sincerity.
