BSP stages protest against Govt order

JAMMU, Oct 22: BSP held a protest against the failure of the Government providing security to the life and property of the outsiders.
BSP president of J&K UT unit was leading the protest. He alleged that security scenario in J&K is not conducive and the Govt has failed to safe guard the life and property of the people of Kashmir and outsiders. This situation has developed due to the selective security provided to BJP leaders/workers and influential people only ignoring the claims of the employees and outsider labourers. This sectarian approach of the Govt in J&K added fuel to the fire with result anti- social elements took the benefit of such approach.
Now, the Govt has issued orders for Kashmiri migrants teachers to attend their classes through on line system while sitting at home, but the other non- Kashmiri employee from Jammu viz, Dalits, Sikhs and OBCs employees have been asked to join their schools /offices without any security cover. This shows the callous attitude of J&K Govt against the employees of the Jammu province. This fact has very evident that the BJP Govt has not provided any security to leaders of opposition parties, even State president, general secretaries, District presidents, Coordinators who are working in militant prone area like Doda, Kishtwar, Udhampur Rajouri and Poonch in spite of repeated requests made with DGP Police, ADG Security, district SSPs. Hence the employees from Jammu who left Kashmir may also be allowed to work at their home till the security is not provided to them.
Present in the protest included vice president Charanjeet Chargotra, Pritam Chand, Hari Chand Thappa, Shashi Bhushan Thappa, Raja singh, Darshan Rana, Tarseam Lal and others.
