JAMMU, June 4: In order to gear-up the party activities, Bahujan Samaj Party orgainsed a workers meeting at Marh under the chairmanship of Bansi Lal, president of Marh, today.
During the meeting it was pointed out that one Bua Ditta aged 50 years resident of Smailpur block Marh was attacked by Nirmal Singh and was beaten to death in presence of halqa Patwari and members of village, who had assembled for measurement (Nishan-Dehi) of land for no fault on his part.
The BSP leaders urged the higher-ups of law and order enforcing authorities to book the culprits and punish under the law of land.
Other spoke on this occasion were Ashok Bhagat, Devraj Bhagat, Capt Romesh Lal, Bishwanath, Parshotam Lal and Mohinder Bhagat.
