JAMMU, Sept 27: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), State president, Tulsi Dass Langeh expressed concern over the Chief Minister statement for rejecting the demand of implementation of 73rd and 74th amendments in the Panchayati Raj Act.
Langeh said that besides BSP rest all the political parties are raising the issue of empowering Panchayats and it is a matter of astonishing that ruling coalition partner is also raising the issue, but failed to get it implemented.
Congress is befooling the people by raising the issue of amendments in the Panchayati Raj Act, as they are in coalition with the ruling Government, Langeh added.
