BSP asks party workers to gear up for ULB polls

RS PURA, Aug 28: With regard to the upcoming Urban Local Bodies elections in Jammu and Kashmir, the state unit of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has also started gearing up to contest the elections.
On behalf of Bahujan Samaj Party, a meeting was organized at Ambedkar Bhavan, RS Pura, where there was discussion about the Urban Local Bodies election. At the same time, the names of candidates for various wards of RS Pura town were also announced during the meeting.
Senior leaders and workers of the party were present during the meeting organized under the chairmanship of state general secretary of Bahujan Samaj Party Darshan Rana. Addressing the meeting BSP State general secretary Rana appealed to all the workers to be fully prepared for the upcoming body elections in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that BSP will field its candidates in all the 13 wards of RS Pura town and Bahujan Samaj Party will also make the president of Municipal Committee RS Pura.
He said that if the BSP comes out victorious in civic elections, then all possible steps will be taken for the development and betterment of RS Pura town and better facilities will be provided to the people. He said that at present the condition of RS Pura town is very bad and only false claims are being made in the name of development. With the consent of all during the meeting, the BSP announced the names of its candidates for different wards.
Earlier, senior leaders of Bahujan Samaj Party Harjit Kumar, Tilak Raj Bhagat, Bishan Das, Janak Raj etc. addressed the meeting and appealed to the people of RS Pura town to support BSP in the civic elections.
