JAMMU, Oct 17: The Border Security Force (BSF) today arrested a Pakistani national on the International Border in Suchetgarh sector of RS Pura tehsil but repatriated him to the Rangers within few hours after confirming that he had crossed over to this side inadvertently and was not a suspect.
Sources said Ali Raja, a tailor from village Pasroor in Sialkot district of Pakistan’s Lahore province crossed over to this side in the morning and was captured by alert troops of the BSF.
He was subjected to questioning during which it was established that he wasn’t a suspect and had crossed over to this side inadvertently.
The BSF established contact on hotline with the Rangers and repatriated the Pakistani national with sweets and new dress through Octroi Post of Suchetgarh sector this evening.
