BSF organises awareness programme on recruitment

JAMMU, Sept 2: A three- day awareness programme on recruitment in  Border Security Force was organised by BSF in BSF school premises today.
The aim was to encourage the students to join forces and to educate them about the technicalities of recruitment.  It also added to the career counselling program of the school.
A short film and an awareness documentary on recruitment in BSF was shown to the senior students of classes 9th, 10th,11th and 12th. Over 1000 students witnessed the programme. Students showed a great deal of enthusiasm and interest in the film.
2 IC Gyanendra Singh conducted an enlightening  interaction session with senior students about their future career choices and playfully  interacted with them.
IG  BSF Jammu Frontier DK Boora presided over the function. He appreciated the efforts of the Principal Dr S.K Shukla and his staff members for having worked collectively and made this programme a grand success. He showed great concern about the career choices of the students.
He announced to the students about their visit to Octroi post Suchetgarh  to witness the  beating retreat ceremony over there.
Speaking on the occasion, DK Boora IG BSF Jammu Frontier said that students must aspire for jobs in Para-military forces. He also added that such programmes are organised at different places to encourage the youth belonging to remote areas to join Border Security Forces.
