JAMMU, May 15: Alert troops of Border Security Force (BSF) today foiled an infiltration bid along the International Border (IB) near Chor Gali in Hiranagar sector of Kathua district. “During wee hours, our troops noticed a suspicious movement near Chor Gali Border Outpost in Hiranagar sector of Kathua and opened firing,” official sources said. They said that the troops first fired six rounds of small arms and later of Light Machine Gun (LMG) on seeing the suspects. “The suspects escaped following firing by BSF,” they added.
