JAMMU, May 15: A delegation of ABVP today called on Jammu University Vice-Chancellor Prof R D Sharma and submitted him a memorandum demanding postponement of semester II exams, which are scheduled to begin from May 20.
Leading the delegation, Sandeep Sharma, president ABVP JU unit, explained that the students were suffering due to the semester system, which has proved to be a failure. Keeping in view the interest of large number of students, who have disputed eligibility in semester I, the University authorities should postpone the semester II exams for a few days, he added.
The delegation comprised of Kannav Sharma, Vikas Sharma, Arun Prabhat, Aman, Lokinder Singh, Alok Singh, and Ajay.
