SRINAGAR, May 18: Veteran Congress leader and former minister, Prof Saifuddin Soz has urged the Lt Governor J&K, GC Murmu to help Kashmiris stranded in West Bengal in bringing them back home.
Soz in a letter flashed to the Lt Governor said that he has received many phone calls from Kolkata and other parts of West Bengal. He claimed that nearly 6000 Kashmiris stranded in West Bengal want to return home. The Congress leader appealed to the J&K Administration to ensure transport facilities to Kashmiris stranded in W.Bengal as early as possible.
