JAMMU, Apr 20: Keeping in view of prevailing condition due to COVID-19, Dogra Brahman Partinidhi Sabha (DBPS) Jammu has decided not to hold celebrations on Bhagwan Parshuram Jayanti, which is scheduled to be held on April 25 and Akshaytritya on April 26.
In a joint statement, issued by President of the Sabha, Ved Parkash Sharma and others, people have been appealed to perform Pooja at their residence with chanting of Vedic Mantras and lighting earthern lamps at their house premises and pray to the god for early control of this pandemic disease.
Signatories to the statement, include VM Magotra, Subash Shastri, Advocate P C Sharma, Satyanath Sharma, Shiv Ram Sharma, Adv Chander Mohan, Ramesh Sharma, Gurdas Sharma and Jagan Nath.
