JAMMU, Dec 28: The century old Brahman Maha Mandal (BMM) released the book Pooja Sankalan containing compilation of Pooja Vidhi Kashmir.
The book was released by its president U K Handoo during the Annual General Meeting (AGM) here, today. During the AGM THE routine business matters of the Brahman Maha Mandal Kashmir were deliberated. The book was released in presence of past presidents B L Handoo, Prof R K Ganjoo and veteran music director Krishen Langoo. The book was published by Brahman Maha Mandal carrying Pooja Vidhi on various religious functions under one cover.
The first edition of the book was published by BMM in the year 1987. The book is quite useful for all Kashmiri Hindu Samaj.
The meeting was informed that BMM has set up its office at Lale de-Bagh. It also decided to renovate its head office at Ganpatyar, Srinagar. In this regard it appealed the Government to evict the illegal occupants from the office building at Ganpatyar, Srinagar.
The BMM has also obtained the tax exemption under Section 80 G from the Income Tax.
