JAMMU, Jan 2: Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya organized a mega eye checkup camp in collaboration with Centre for Eye Sight at the Om Shanti Meditation Centre here today.
In the camp, scores of patients belonging to different sections of the society availed the facility of free check up and treatment by the renowned eye specialists. The patients were provided with free eye drops and were also educated about the Gita Gyan given by God Shiva.
Director, Brahma Kumaris, J&K Rajyogini Sudershan Didi informed that the objective was to provide a third eye of knowledge to the people so that they can identify their original self and connect with their supreme father by making a healthy relationship with Him.
She said that the free eye checkup camp was organized to serve the humanity by way of providing support to those who cannot afford the treatment as physical health is equally important to spiritual health.
MS Consultant, Dr Sudesh Raina, MS, FAEH (PHACO and Refractive), Dr Deepak Bhat, MBBS DNB Dr Farah Deeba were among the specialists who rendered their services during the camp.
