RAJOURI, Aug 26: A minor boy was injured after he was hit by a bike at Manjakote market in district Rajouri today.
A police spokesman said that the mishap took place when 12-yeart-old, Yassar Hussain, son of Mohd Shabir, resident of Kotli Kalaban village had come to Manjakote town with family members. While crossing road at around 10 AM in the main market, he was hit by a motor-cycle and received serious injuries.
The boy with multiple injuries was rushed to local hospital where after first- aid, he was removed to District Hospital, Rajouri. The police has seized the bike and also registered a case in this connection.
