Bovines smuggling bids foiled

RAMBAN, Mar 22: Batote Police foiled bovines smuggling bids by rescuing 59 cattle.
As per police sources, on specific inputs regarding smuggling of bovine animals, a team from Police Station Batote laid a naka and intercepted five vehicles bearing registration numbers JK02CJ-8284 , JK18B-3567, JK08E-3535, JK03D-8270 and JK03G-6412 which were on their way from Jammu towards Srinagar.
During checking, police team rescued 59 bovine animals and seized the vehicles.
Cases FIR Numbers 36/2022, 37/2022, 38/2022, 39/2022 and 40/2022 under relevant Sections were registered at Police Station Batote and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Batote Inspector Sudhir Sadotra foiled the bovines smuggling bids under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Ramban Pardeep Singh Sen and SP Ramban Mohita Sharma.
