JAMMU, Mar 29: Jhajjar Kotli police foiled bovines smuggling bid by rescuing four cattle.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Jhajjar Kotli Police Station led by SHO Inspector Mohammad Shoket Choudhary laid a naka and intercepted a Tata Mobile vehicle.
During checking, police rescued four cattle from the vehicle and seized it, while the accused driver managed to escape from the spot by taking benefit of the darkness.
A case under FIR Number 38/19 under section 188 RPC and 3/5 PCA Act has been registered at Jhajjar Kotli Police Station and investigation started.
