JAMMU, Feb 9: Nagrota police foiled bovines smuggling bid by rescuing 6 cattle.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Nagrota Police Station laid a naka and intercepted a Mahindra load carrier vehicle.
During checking, police rescued 6 cattle from the vehicle and seized it, while the accused driver managed to escape from the spot by taking benefit of the darkness.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Nagrota Police Station and investigation started.
