JAMMU, Feb 9: Durga Mandal Unit of BJP has appealed the Chief Minster, Mehbooba Mufti and Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh to settle the problems of the people.
General secretary of the Mandal, Satish Kumar Zutshi who chaired the meeting of Mandal has demanded matador service from Bus Stand to Durga Nagar, Dogra Nagar, Rajinder Colony via Bantalab so that the people are relieved of their problems due to lack of transport facilities.
He also demanded that development activities be speeded up in Durga Nagar, Roop Nagar, Dogra Nagar , Chinore, Rajinder Colony Muthi, Buta Nagar, Barnai, Netar Kotian, T V Tower area, Bantalab, Kamla Nagar, Domana, Purkhoo etc.
He also urged the Government to ensure supply of all essential commodities on controlled rates on Maha Shivratri falling on February 13.
M K Razdan chairman Durga Mandal, M L Bhat Mandal president, Bharat Bushan Bhat (Gosani) general secretary BJP KDD, Bushan Lal Koul booth president and other leaders attended the meeting.
