KISHTWAR, Sept 29: Police foiled a bovines smuggling bid by rescuing 9 cattle.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Chatroo led by SHO Inspector Parvaiz Ahmed Khanday and assisted by Incharge Police Post MughalMaidan PSI Ankush Sharma under the supervision of DySP DAR DPL Kishtwar laid naka at Khanpur area and arrested one bovine smuggler and rescued 9 cattle from his possession.
The accused person was carrying bovines from Kishtwar towards Kashmir valley without any valid permission from concerned authority.
Accordingly, a case FIR Number 79/2022 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Chatroo and investigation taken up.
