SRINAGAR, Sept 29: District level competition in Archery for all age group boys started at Youth Hostel Srinagar here, today.
The under 14, 17 and 19 years boys will compete in their respective age groups for the championship. The championship was inaugurated by District Youth Services and Sports Officer Srinagar, Balbir Singh.
Before the commencement of the routine competitions, an anti drug abuse pledge was administered to all the participants under ‘Nash Mukt Bharat Abhiyan’ and ‘Mission Waapsi’.
More than 50 boys will compete for three days in their respective age groups for district level title. Meanwhile, Rifle shooting basic training course for boys also started at Indoor Shooting Hall Youth Hostel Srinagar today.
