Bovine smuggling bid foiled

JAMMU, Feb 28: Khour Police foiled bovines smuggling bid.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Station Khour led by SHO Inspector Balwinder Singh laid a naka at Naryana and intercepted a Mahindra load carrier bearing Registration Number JK02BQ-1641.
During checking, police team rescued 5 bovine animals from the vehicle and arrested one person, who was transporting the cattle from Naryana towards Poonch District without any legal prior permission from District Magistrate.
The arrested person has been identified as Sohil Manzoor, son of Manzoor Ahmed, a resident of District Poonch.
A case under FIR Number 10/2021 under Section 188 IPC was registered at Police Station Khour and investigation started.
