KATHUA, Feb 28: Nagri police has arrested a lady and recovered 45 liters of illicit liquor from her.
Police Post (PP) Nagri under the supervision of Inspector, Vicky Thappa conducted a raid at Kandyal area of Nagri and apprehended one suspect namely Suman Devi, wife of Sham Lal of Kandyal tehsil, Kathua and 45 liters of illicit liquor was recovered from her possession, police said. The accused was arrested and liquor was seized.
A case vide FIR No 96/2021 u/s 48 (e) Excise Act was registered in PP Nagri and further investigation of the case is going on.
