Bovine smuggling bid foiled

UDHAMPUR, Aug 21: Rehambal police foiled bovines smuggling bid by rescuing 14 cattle and arresting one person.
As per police sources, a team from Rehambal Police Station laid a naka and intercepted a truck bearing registration number PB10CE-5938.
During checking, police team rescued 14 bovine animals from the vehicle and arrested one person, who was identified as Gulzar, son of Israr of Uttar Pradesh.
A case under FIR Number 124/2020 under sections 188 IPC and 11 PCA Act has been registered at Rehambal Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Rehambal Inspector Virender Gupta made the arrest supervision of DSP HQ Udhampur Rohit Chadgal and SP Rajinder Katoch.
